Meet in Vermont

For a small city, Burlington is remarkably accessible with direct flights from 18+ destinations.  It is also accessible on Amtrak’s Ethan Allen Express with daily service from New York City.  Located 3.5 hours from Boston, the drive north on Interstate 89 will provide breathtaking unobstructed (no billboards) views of the Green Mountains. Coming south from Montrèal, you’ll find yourself in downtown Burlington in less than 2 hours.

We are a four-season city with spectacular spring, summer and fall weather.  High’s in the summer can reach the mid-80’s.  Winter is just as spectacular with falling snow and colder weather.  Low’s in the winter can reach the mid teens.  Outdoor activities are available and accessible year round.

Other than the obvious..Ben & Jerry’s, the band Phish…Burlington is known for its commitment to locally owned restaurants, shops, bars, galleries and entertainment venues.  Burlington was “shop local” before “shop local” became cool.  

The city is home to five James Beard nominated restaurants located on or around the Church Street Marketplace.  

The city is also known for its walkability and being very bike friendly.
