Summer Events

Summer is a great time to plan a trip around an event. In fact, there’s enough going on that you can probably squeeze two or three into a long weekend and still miss something fun. Kick off your weekend at the South End Get Down, with food trucks and live music every Friday night in Burlington's arts district. Farmer’s markets dot the region and series like Ben & Jerry’s Concerts on the Green bring in national acts throughout the summer. For the foodies, there’s the Burlington Food & Wine Festival and Vermont Brewers Festival. Both are great ways to experience some of the best food and drink anywhere while watching a classic Lake Champlain sunset. For the family, check out Church Street’s Festival of Fools, a weekend of street performer fun up and down the marketplace and wrap up the season with the Champlain Valley Fair.
