    • Local Advice: For the parade, find a seat near Lavigne Road for easy access to parking after the event. Parking for fireworks is available at Colchester High School, Colchester Middle School, and Malletts Bay School.

Vermont Symphony Orchestra: America 250 at Shelburne Museum

This event offers a July 4th evening of orchestral music, live narration, and a fireworks finale on the grounds of Shelburne Museum.

  • Time: Gates open at 5:30 PM | Concert at 7:30 PM | Fireworks follow

  • Highlights: A picnic-friendly outdoor concert featuring works by Copland, John Williams, Sousa, and more — plus live narration and a Musical Petting Zoo before the show. Ticket holders also get half-price admission to Shelburne Museum through October 25.
