JOBS WITH HELLO BURLINGTON
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
The Social Media Manager will implement our content strategy on Instagram and Facebook. They will actively engage with and expand our social audiences by steadily posting unique and compelling photo and video content, interacting with comments, and keeping on top of what’s new and what’s happening in Greater Burlington.
Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:

A love of what Greater Burlington has to offer.

A creative eye and a strong written voice.

Ability to internalize our growing brand and articulate it to our social community.

Ability to tailor content to specific social media platforms.

Able to respond quickly, effectively, and respectfully to interaction online.

Photography, Videography, and/or design skills are a massive plus.

Ability to take initiative, manage competing priorities, and strong attention to detail required.

Ability to interact professionally with all staff and external partners.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-
Skilled in MS Office Suite and general computer literacy required, knowledge of Google Suite preferred.
Specific Duties:
-
Maintain and aggressively expand @helloburlington Instagram and Facebook audience

Assist senior staff in development of content calendar across all digital channels
-
Work with stakeholders to promote events and activities of interest to visitors

Work with partners to develop contest and giveaway campaigns
-
Occasional nights and weekends required
