Along with our gorgeous foliage, fall brings with it a bounty of apples at Orchards across the region. There are almost as many varieties as there are colors in the trees. Throw in apple cider, apple pie, and cider doughnuts, not to mention local peaches, plums, or pears, and you’ve got more reasons to go apple picking than any reasonable person needs. Here are a few orchards in the area that are worth a visit this fall. Be sure to call ahead to know what to expect for COVID safety practices.
