Burlington Voters can get a free ride to the polls on election day!
The city of Burlington is excited to announce its partnership with Greenride! Owned by Gotcha Mobility, LLC headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina. Greenride has announced their participation in a national program called Roll To the Polls 2020, a national partnership with the North American Bikeshare Association. Voters will be able to get free bike rentals to get to the polls on election day, Tuesday, November 3rd.
Access to polling places has historically been a challenge for many voters even with standard public transportation options. With a number of incentives to get Americans to the polls on election day, Ride To The Polls is an extremely accessible option for those who do not have their own vehicles or mode of transportation.
