Vermont City Marathon - May 28th
The VCM draws runners from all over the world, its scenic course winds through the picturesque streets of Burlington and along the shores of Lake Champlain. Taking place over Memorial Day weekend, the race attracts both elite athletes and amateur runners, it features a variety of events, including a marathon, half marathon, relay race, and 5K. Vermont Green FC - May 20th - July 16th
In their inaugural season playing in USL League 2, Vermont Green FC quickly became a "must-see" event for residents and visitors alike. Playing at the at the University of Vermont’s Virtue Field, they posted some of the highest attendance in the country and made a deep run in the playoffs. Even better, the atmosphere at the matches is as electric as it is family-friendly.
Vermont Lake Monsters - May 24th - August 4th
The Lake Monsters provide an unforgettable experience for baseball fans of all ages, the team's historic ballpark, Centennial Field, is nestled in the heart of Burlington and is one of the oldest, operating ballparks in the country. The Futures League All Star Game - July 25th
Burlington is excited to host The 2023 Futures League All-Star Game presented by Community Bank, scheduled to take place at the historic Centennial Field, on July 25th, 2023. The Vermont Lake Monsters and the Futures League jointly announced this exciting news. This event will showcase the finest college players from each of the league's eight teams. Burlington Discover Jazz Festival June 7th - 11th

The Festival of Fools - August 4th - 6th

Farmers Markets Weekly events that takes place every Saturday-Sunday from May to October. Located in just about every town throughout the region, these vibrant market are home to more than 200 vendors, selling everything from fresh produce and meats to handmade crafts and jewelry. With live music and delicious food trucks, it's the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning in the Burlington area.
South End Get Down is a weekly event that takes place every Friday night from May 26th to September. Also located in the South End Arts District, this outdoor food truck rally features a rotating lineup of local and regional food vendors, craft beer, live music, and a lively atmosphere. It's the perfect way to kick off the weekend in Burlington.
Ben & Jerry's Concerts on the Green: A popular summer concert series that takes place on the picturesque Shelburne Museum green. The series features a diverse lineup of nationally recognized musicians and bands, as well as up-and-coming artists.
